Oscar Cuadra, aka @thesnacksensei (Grand-O “The Snack Sensei”), is a Bay Area–based artist and content creator whose roots run from Mexico to Nicaragua. Born and raised in San Francisco, Oscar grew up in a home where nearly every meal was cooked from scratch and that kitchen table became his first classroom, shaping his love for flavor, culture, community, and comfort. Oscar attended UC Santa Barbara, where he studied speech pathology. While learning how people connect and communicate, he was also developing his own creative voice as an artist and exploring the Bay Area’s food scene, merging his two favorite things: food and music. Those experiences broadened his perspective and inspired the way he tells stories today: inviting, relatable, and rooted in real life. Known for his energetic, playful content, he represents the culture of the Bay with relatable humor, and cool style. Oscar’s not trying to be a chef or a critic, he’s a regular guy who loves great snacks, good eats, and the social experiences around them. That authenticity has built real trust with his audience and opened the door to collaborations with top brands across food & beverage, lifestyle, travel, and health & wellness, showcasing how flavor, culture, and everyday life intersect.
