For nerds who garden and gardeners who nerd. I'm Kelsey, the Massachusetts-based creator behind Sprouts & Stories, where I make gardening feel more joyful, approachable, and a little nerdy. I create beginner-friendly garden education, seasonal storytelling, and plant-filled travel and pop culture content, from growing pumpkins in my Zone 6b garden to exploring how theme parks and video games use plants to build their worlds. Before this, I spent 13 years as a market and user-experience researcher, and it still shapes how I work. I start from what an audience actually needs to hear, and I'm comfortable being handed a goal rather than a script. For example, Botanical Interests trusted me to create and publish directly to their Instagram from August to April 2026, without individual approvals. I partner with brands on content that feels natural to my audience while supporting clear campaign goals.
