Dr. Juan Sebastian Orjuela, known affectionately as “Juancho,” is a 2022 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College, holding a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. In 2020, he co-founded the Latinx Veterinary Medical Association (LVMA), a pioneering 501c3 Non-Profit Organization dedicated to supporting Latinx professionals within veterinary medicine. Born in Bogota, Colombia, and migrating to the United States at the age of 10, he embodies the resilience and adaptability of the immigrant experience. Juancho’s academic achievements include a double major in Biology and Environmental Conservation from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
