Investigator Slater lives in New York and is a professional investigator, acclaimed podcaster, and dynamic content creator known for her bold approach to True Crime. She’s the force behind the top-ranked true crime podcast Psychopedia, and the creator of Girl On Gore and “Today, I’m a corpse cleaner”… where she brings real-world investigative grit to her masterful storytelling. With a background in criminology and a career spent leading major sex abuse investigations, Slater now uses her voice to inform, entertain, advocate for victims and survivors, and navigate the darkest corners of the human psyche. But, like, makes it fun. Psychopedia has become a true crime phenomenon with over 15 million downloads and Top 10 chart rankings across the U.S., U.K., and Australia. It’s an intersection of research, storytelling, and psychology - all through the lens of modern criminology. In 2025, Slater channeled that same instinct for the disturbing and the human into Girl On Gore - a fictional, “not-so-true-crime” universe where she steps into the role of a corpse cleaner. It’s gory, it’s sharp, it’s sexy, it combines female wit with forensic realism - and it absolutely blew up.
