Peruvian miniature artist and interior designer.
I create paper sculptures that can be origami pieces, characters from famous films, or paintings, in which I try to synthesize details on a very small scale.
It is the simple things in life, those that bring us small moments of joy, that I have chosen to represent.
I spend many hours on meticulous work, skillfully combining color, shapes, textures, and even shadows in a harmonious and organic way.
Better known as 'Galletita de Jengibre,' in 2016 I accepted the challenge of an international project: to make one origami piece a day for a year. The resulting collection was exhibited in Lima, Peru.
Since 2022, I have exhibited in London, New York, Brussels, Milan, and Taipei as part of the Small Is Beautiful - Miniature Art Museum exhibitions.
In 2024, I participated as a speaker at TEDxTukuyWomen, sharing my insights on how something very small can have a big impact and how everything can look different depending on the scale at which you see it.
This year, I showcased my miniature art in my most recent exhibition, "Encontrar la Felicidad en lo Pequeño" ("Finding Happiness in small things"), in Lima, Peru, which has been very successful both at home and overseas.
