ANGE JOHNSON Founder & CEO Ange is the founder and driving force behind Emerald Coast Playbook. A mom, Marine Corps veteran, and longtime travel planner, she leads the brand’s content strategy, partnerships, production, and growth. She created Emerald Coast Playbook to give families the kind of practical, experience-based travel information she was already looking for herself: what’s worth doing, what parents should know before they go, and how to make the most of their time together. NICK JOHNSON Co-Founder & Creative Contributor Nick helps bring the family perspective to Emerald Coast Playbook, appearing throughout the brand’s adventures and contributing behind the scenes to content and creative ideas. A Marine Corps pilot, Nick brings his own perspective to the places the Playbook explores — along with an occasional willingness to ride the roller coaster, test the questionable attraction, or be volunteered for whatever Ange has planned next. Together with their family, Ange and Nick create experience-based guides designed to help locals and visitors discover what’s worth adding to the list.
