Hi, I'm Devin Dole!
I am a Western content creator living in Wyoming. My content is about horses, ranch life, agriculture, homesteading, and Western lifestyle. I am sharing more about our personal life including Western fashion, products recommendations for livestock, and the process of building our home on bare land.
I have horses, sheep, cattle, dogs, chickens, and cats. We raise sheep and have lambs in the spring.
I am originally from Colorado, but live just outside Cheyenne, WY. I am inspired by all things Western lifestyle, which is trending right now heavily! From cowboy boots and hats, to workwear, to vintage wear, to Western fashion, I have a diverse closet.
Our most notable animals recognized and beloved by the internet are Melman, the orphan Holstein calf with a heart on his head, Wilson and Ruth, two of our horses, and Walter the corgi puppy.
I have two published poetry books and more books in the works. I host a podcast called Westward, and speak at events about social media and the benefits of it to businesses, big and small.
We are expecting our first child in October, and I will be open to any and all parenting, motherhood, baby brands!
We are building a home, barn, corrals, and arena from scratch on a plot of land in Wyoming. I will start documenting this process soon and plan to make more long form content with it.
I have a Substack that I am working on getting active again.
My audience is around 80% women, 20% men. They are a diverse group of horse owners, ranchers, equestrians, and people who live in cities but just love horses. Most of my audience base is in the US, but I often hear from international followers from countries like Australia, Canada, Ireland, and the Netherlands.
I was a middle school teacher for 10 years, I am a licensed counselor, and then I moved into the equine media world. I wrote for an equine magazine before moving into equine marketing. I have recently left my job in marketing to go in full time on content creation. My background means that I have plenty of experience working with brands, I'm a professional, understand the importance of building strong partnerships, and representing a brand the right way.
We own and train working ranch horses, my husband is a cowboy, and much of my content is often out in beautiful country horseback. With the Western way of life trending so heavily, I continue to gain new followers who just love to be immersed into this way of life.
My content also includes quite a bit of humor. I like to mix in humorous skits about horses with inspirational, uplifting, motivational, and encouraging content. I keep it family friendly and am very intentional with what I post, ensuring that anyone could pull up my video and watch it with their family.
