She didn’t grow up with a life of travel. She built one. Travel had always been something Anisha wanted, but it was never something she could simply take for granted. Growing up, she understood that if she wanted to see the world, she would first have to build a life that could make it possible. So she worked. Over six years in consulting, including roles with KPMG and Deloitte, gave her the financial independence to slowly turn that dream into reality. Her first international trips took her to Thailand, Malaysia and Dubai, while work itself opened doors to explore different parts of India. For a long time, travel meant saving for the next trip and fitting adventures in between demanding work schedules. But somewhere along the way, something changed. After years of working towards a life that would allow her to travel, Anisha decided to start building a life around travel itself. Today, based in Switzerland, she is exploring Europe one journey at a time - documenting slow travel, thoughtful stays, local experiences and the practical details that make travelling feel more achievable. Having travelled to 12+ countries, she is discovering that travel has changed more than the places on her map. It has changed the way she sees life, time, work and what it means to create a life of her own. And through her content, she hopes to remind others that you don't have to come from a life of travel to create one. Sometimes, you simply have to start building it.
